The most important facts about your Liechtenstein Trail experience

By car
You can leave your car at the first hotel free of charge for the duration of your trip and pick it up again at the end.

By public transport
From your starting point, you can travel by train to Sargans/Buchs (CH) or Feldkirch (A). From there, you can board a LIEmobil bus and travel comfortably to your first hotel. The bus journey is free from all three stations mentioned with a valid adventure pass.

All the hotels in the package are selected hotels located directly on the Liechtenstein Trail. 

You will receive an empty paper bag at each hotel. You can fill it the next morning at the breakfast buffet with whatever your heart desires.

You label your suitcases legibly with the label you receive at check-in.  You leave your luggage at the hotel reception by 09:00 and we will arrange for it to be transported to the next hotel by 17:00 at the latest. If you are travelling in a group (several people), we ask you to note the name of our contact person for the booking.

Catering is provided for en route: you will find a number of restaurants along the way. Please check the opening times yourself. 

In addition to the detailed signposting, the LIstory app also accompanies you on your way. The LIstory app not only shows you the hiking route and stage information, but also serves as an orientation aid. During your tour, you can open 147 experience stations in the app and find out lots of information about the Principality and its sights.

Bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation for the Liechtenstein Way with you on your journey. Always carry this document with you and show it when you want to use one of the offers. If you use public transport, show your Adventure Pass to the ticket inspector when you are asked for it. The Adventure Pass is valid throughout your stay, both on the day of arrival and departure.

We recommend walking the Liechtenstein Trail in hiking boots. Hiking poles are not necessary, but are certainly a help on the climbs. Bring a water bottle with you. You will always find fountains with drinking water where you can refill your bottle. At the Liechtenstein Center in Vaduz, which is open daily, you will receive a finisher's certificate and two additional surprises after successfully completing the Liechtenstein Trail. You can also purchase some regional souvenirs.
