Balzers mill
Organic flour from Liechtenstein
The Balzers mill focuses on organic production. It only processes products from controlled organic farms in Liechtenstein or BIO-Suisse certified farms. BIO-Suisse guarantees uniform regulations at a high ecological level.
Today's mill building on the northern edge of Balzers dates from 1837. It contains four grinding stands: three stone mills from the 19th century and a roller mill from 1944. Until the 1930s, a water wheel was used to drive the grinding gears. After that, the mill was converted to electric operation.
The various flours from the Balzers Mill can be purchased at the Liechtenstein Center in Vaduz
