Restaurant Torkel
The Restaurant Torkel is situated in the Herawingert Princely Vineyard, north of Vaduz.
The building which houses the restaurant dates back to the Middle Ages and is dominated by a huge solid-wood beam that was used in the past to press wine. In the 1960s the site was developed into a restaurant.
Head chef Ivo Berger uses mostly produce from the local region, and even the fish specialties are made with freshwater fish caught in rivers and lakes across Liechtenstein. A cellar containing over 500 different wines from across Europe ensures that diners will always find the right bottle to go with their meal, while the covered terrace offers magnificent views.
