Kulturhaus Roessle
The former Rössle Gasthaus, with its attached hall and stage, was the centre of social life in the Municipality of Mauren for many years.
In January 2015, following extensive conversion and refurbishment work, the building was dedicated to its new purpose as a listed cultural centre.
In 2008 there had been plans to demolish the historical building, which dates from 1833. It was thanks to the collective efforts of the municipality, cultural heritage bodies and private individuals, that the venerable building was rescued from the wrecking ball.
Today, Kulturhaus Rössle is a meeting place, a place for discussion and inspiration for all interest and age groups. It maintains a wide-ranging cultural programme, entailing a mix of all cultural topics. In addition, the building may also be used by third parties.
