International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein
The International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein would like to invite classical music enthusiasts to a host of concerts.
The International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein was founded in November 2010. The idea to offer tuition in this intensive and holistic approach has its roots in the endeavours of the charitable foundation “Musik & Jugend”. Those responsible for the foundation have already been supporting and promoting talented young musicians for over 15 years by providing masterclasses and opportunities to perform, and they recognised there was a need to offer a more extensive training programme.
On its 5th anniversary in 2016, the International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein can boast a number of achievements attained by its students. Several of its scholarship holders have gone on to win international competitions, for example Christel Lee (Professor Ana Chumachenco, violin) winning the “International Jean-Sibelius Violin Competition” in Helsinki; Filippo Gorini (Professor Pavel Gililov, piano) winning the “International Telekom Beethoven Competition” in Bonn, or Andrei Ioniţă (Professor Jens Peter Maintz, cello) winning the “International Tchaikovsky Competition” in St. Petersburg / Moscow.
The International Music Academy’s students enchant their audiences time and again with their VIRTUOSO concerts at the Liechtenstein National Museum in Vaduz and in their TWILIGHT concerts in the atmospheric “Grüne Halle” of the Grand Hotel Quellenhof in Bad Ragaz.
The young pianists, cellists, violinists, viola players, horn players and flautists of the International Music Academy in the Principality of Liechtenstein are looking forward to welcoming you to the many concerts. Admission to all of the concerts is free of charge.
