Balzers Operetta
Operetta has a long and proud tradition in Liechtenstein. Since the 1940s the country's two operetta stages in Balzers and Vaduz have been bringing top-class operetta to the people.
Each year around 10,000 visitors enjoy the performances in Balzers and Vaduz, with the two locations alternating on an annual basis since 1977. Well-known pieces such as 'The Merry Widow', 'The Jolly Farmer' and 'Die Fledermaus' are proof of the fact that operetta certainly isn't for opera buffs only and can be a musical delight for everyone.
