More sports activities in winter

With a little practice, you can read all sorts of things from an animal track - for example: snow hare, deer, ibex, which track belongs to which animal?

This program contains a lot of fun, a group that has to evolve into a team and a some drinks at the open fire.

Each winter since the Liechtenstein Alpine Club has created a huge ice-climbing tower in Malbun.

The new ice rink in the winter resort of Malbun is ideal for ice skating, ice hockey or 'Eisstockschiessen', a traditional game similar to curling.

A highlight for cold winter days. Experience a special llama tour and enjoy a tasty cheese fondue under the stars after the guided tour.

For passionate puzzle guessers, Malbun comes up trumps with a special highlight: The Magical Malbun Portal.

The Malbun Explorer's Trail begins above the Schlucher meeting point and ends at the Sass-Seeli. The trail is also easily accessible during the winter months.

The "Sareiserhöhe" is a mountain ridge near the top of the chairlift from Malbun. It serves as an ideal starting point for skiers and snowboarders to head back down into the valley on the excellent pistes.

The Skicoach.li ski school from Liechtenstein offers various courses in the Liechtenstein ski resort of Malbun.

Snowshoeing is child's play, and it's even easier with an introduction to the right technique.

Malbun Ski and Snowboard School offers private tuition and group courses for children and adults of all abilities. There are also taster courses and beginners' courses for snowboarding.

In winter you can take a family-friendly hike with llamas from Malbun, Steg or Triesenberg.

From 8th November 2024 to 6th January 2025 there will be a big roller skating place and a cozy cottage restaurant. 

Since the highest point of the Liechtenstein Trail is only about 1100 metres above sea level, the entire route can usually be completed during the winter months.
