On the Schönberg
Flowery fields and fun on the top
The hike from Malbun to the top of Schönberg is suitable for children starting at around age 6. The moderate ascent leads next to flower fields, the small lake of Saas and a secured mountain trail. An adventure for the small and the big ones that won't be boring due to the variety of landscape.
To the Gafadura hut
Marmots and Apple Pie
The ascent from Planken to the Gafadura Hut takes some time. Around 700 meters difference in altitude do have to be conquered on the ascending serpentines in the woods. Depending on the season you'll find forest berries and cool hideouts under the trees. Right before you reach the hut, you'll be challenged to elicit the many marmots residing in their caves before you can treat yourself with a delicious apple pie, Rösti or some traditional "Käsknöpfle".

On the way to the explorers' throne
Kids want to learn a lot and want to discover the world by themselves. With a magnifier glass, ruler and a lot of fun they are challenged to discover the mountain region on the discover path. Starting at the "Schlucher-Treff" at the entrance of Malbun, 10 stations are awaiting curious kids and their parents. After around 2 hours of ascending, the destination is reached: the throne on top of the small lake of Sass. A picnic area invites the successful explorers to stay for a while, have a snack and enjoy the view.
Through the Valuena Valley
Walk for water rats
The hike from the south end of the Gänglesee lake to the Alp Valuena is well suitable for toddlers and stroller-friendly. The path leads along the Valüna brook and has to offer a lot of discoveries for kids. At the end of the 1.5 kilometres of the almost flat route the Alp Valuena awaits their guests with yummy alp yogurts, plates of locally made cheese and meat platters and a variety of home made cakes.

The Historical Eschnerberg Trail unlocks the from old ruins decorated Eschnerberg above the Rhein valley in the North of the Liechtenstein Unterland. The historical circular track offers a spacious trail network that's, depending on the route section, also suitable for toddlers. On the road, picnic areas invite to chill and grill.
