Discover the centre of Triesen
This culture and nature trail through the centre of Triesen leads you from the Rhine Valley up over a hundred vertical metres to the early medieval chapel of St. Mamerta, located above the settlement.
Just 100 vertical metres lie between the banks of the Rhine and the chapel of St. Mamerta, but visitors will feel like they have gone on a journey back in time.
The ancient settlement of Triesen, located directly next to a stream, has grown and changed over the centuries. Indeed, many of the most historic buildings in the village - sawmills, mills, blacksmiths and other workshops - would not have been possible without the ability to harness the power of the water flowing through Triesen.
