25 years Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein

The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2025. With four exhibitions, as well as performances, projects and special events, it invites visitors to experience art in a variety of ways this year.

Programme for the anniversary year

28 February – 9 June

Silver Suits You. 25 years of love for art with works from 24 years of collecting and three ‘dream pieces’ that sketch out a vision for the future

11 April – 31 August

The group exhibition On the Street examines public space as a source of inspiration for artistic work and as a place for radical and poetic actions.

16 May - 12 April 2026

Entitled In Touch. Encounters in the Collection, the first exhibition curated by Karin Schick, the show sees art as a powerful space for connection, contact and exchange. 40 paintings and sculptures from the Hilti Art Foundation collection span around a hundred years of design.

27 June - 18 January 2026

As part of the series In the context of the collection, the Danish artist Henrik Olesen (b. 1967) enters into a dialogue with the Kunstmuseum's collection.

On Saturday, 28 June, the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein and the Hilti Art Foundation invite visitors to a summer festival and open house.

26 September - 1 March 2026

Tony Cokes (b. 1956, Richmond, USA) brings a new perspective to the collection with his unique form of video essay.

The anniversary year draws to a close on 11 November with a celebration of the museum's birthday.
